Interior Plastering and Wall Finishing
Offermomentumgrid hangs, tapes and skims plasterboard until your walls read like a single sheet of glass. We work around your household, keep dust to a whisper and hand over surfaces that painters actually enjoy coating.
What lands in your quote
Every interior plastering job from Offermomentumgrid arrives as a line item you can argue with, not a lump sum pulled from thin air. You see board type, coat counts, corner beads and the days we will be in your hallway.
- Fixed written quote valid for sixty days with no surprise variations
Level five finishes that survive strong afternoon light
Offermomentumgrid sets plasterboard, loads corners and fills joints so the wall stops drawing your eye. We chase raking light with a halogen lamp because a glancing sunbeam shows every hesitation a trowel ever made.
Old Melbourne terraces rarely have a square wall in them. We pack and shim studs, straighten reveals and set out cornices so a heritage ceiling still reads level without gutting the room's character.
- Level 4 and Level 5 skim coats specified in writing before we start
- Corner beads, expansion joints and shadow lines fitted as standard
- Ceiling roses and heritage cornice profiles matched from samples
- Rooms sealed with zip barriers and negative air machines each day
Dust is the real enemy
A plastering job is judged by the mess it leaves behind as much as the finish. Offermomentumgrid tapes doorways, runs extraction on every sanding pass and vacuums ceiling fans on the way out, because nobody wants to clean up after trades who have already driven off.
Hands that have fixed other people's shortcuts
Most of our interior work starts as a rescue. A previous crew rushed the joints, the skirting hides a bulge, and the owner has already painted the room twice trying to make it disappear. Offermomentumgrid diagnoses the cause before mixing a single bag.
Diagnosis before demolition
We sound the wall, check for movement and read the substrate before deciding whether to patch, re-line or strip back to studs. Cheaper answers exist and we will name them.
Taping that stays shut
Paper tape bedded in setting compound and feathered wide enough that no ridge telegraphs through. We have reopened our own work after five years to confirm it held.
Paint-ready handover
Primer sealed, nibs sanded, corners crisp. Your painter walks in and starts rolling instead of spending a day fixing someone else's edges.
Six stages from first phone call to final sand
Offermomentumgrid runs every interior plastering project through the same sequence so you always know which stage you are paying for and what happens next.
On-site measure and room audit
We walk the space, photograph problem areas, note ceiling heights and check existing cornice profiles. Takes about an hour and costs you nothing.
Written scope and fixed price
You receive a document listing board types, coat schedule, corner details, start date and full cost. Nothing gets added later without your written approval.
Protection and site setup
Floors covered in breathable felt, doorways zipped off, power isolated to the work zone. Lighter items get moved, heavy furniture stays where it is and we protect around it.
Boarding, taping and beading
Sheets hung with staggered joints, screws set just under the surface, tape bedded and corner beads mechanically fixed. This stage sets the ceiling for everything that follows.
Skim coating and feathering
Two to three coats applied and pulled tight, with wide feathered edges so the transition between new and existing plaster disappears under raking light.
Final sand, primer and handover walk
We sand under LED inspection, spot prime the patches and walk every wall with you before the invoice lands. Any defect you find gets fixed before we pack the van.
