Who we are and what this policy covers
Offermomentumgrid is an interior plastering and exterior rendering business operating out of 60 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, request a quote, book a site visit or hire us for a job, and it explains what we do with that information afterwards.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we also apply the rights and protections described in the General Data Protection Regulation where those rules apply to you.
If anything here is unclear, write to us at offermomentumgrid@gmail.com and we will walk you through it in plain language.
What information we collect
We only collect what we need to quote a job, complete the work and stay in touch with you. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- Your name and the name of any co-owner or tenant on the property
- Your phone number, email address and postal address, including the service address of the job
- Details about the property and the work you want done, including photographs and measurements gathered during a site visit
- Correspondence with us by email, phone, text message or through the website contact form
- Invoice, payment and Australian Business Number details where you are a trade or commercial client
- Website analytics such as page views, referral source and approximate location, collected in an aggregated and non-identifying form
We do not collect sensitive information such as health records, racial background or religious beliefs, and we do not ask for it.
How we use your information
Offermomentumgrid uses your personal information to prepare quotes, schedule site visits, order materials, complete work, invoice correctly, and stay in contact about the job.
We may also use your contact details to follow up after a job is finished, to ask for a review, or to send occasional seasonal updates about rendering maintenance or plaster care. You can tell us to stop at any time and it will stop.
We will never sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone who is not involved in delivering the work you have asked for.
Who we share information with
In the ordinary course of running the business we may need to share some of your details with third parties, including:
- Suppliers and delivery drivers who need an address to drop materials to
- Subcontractors such as scaffolders, electricians or painters engaged on your job
- Our accountant and bookkeeping provider for invoicing and tax purposes
- Insurance providers where a claim or warranty matter arises
- Government agencies or regulators where the law requires us to disclose
Each of these parties is required to keep your information confidential and to use it only for the purpose it was shared. Where a third party is located overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled to a standard comparable to Australian law.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep job records, including quotes, invoices and site photographs, for seven years to meet Australian tax and warranty obligations. General enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after two years. Website analytics are retained in aggregated form and cannot be traced back to you.
Your information is stored on password protected devices and encrypted cloud services. Paper records are kept in a locked cabinet at our Cremorne office. If a data breach ever occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can ask Offermomentumgrid at any time to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete information we no longer need. You can also object to how we are using your information, or ask us to restrict it.
Send any request to offermomentumgrid@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or, if you are in the European Economic Area, to your national data protection authority.
We do not use automated decision making and we do not profile you for marketing without your consent.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy every twelve months and update it whenever the law or our practices change. The date of the most recent revision always appears at the top of the page. If a significant change affects how we use your information, we will contact you directly using the details you have given us.
